We make the world's networks safer.

Corelight’s Online CTF with iON

Wednesday May 6, 2020 - 2p-4p MST

Corelight’s popular Capture the Flag (CTF) events have gone digital to support our new work-from-home world. We’re excited to host a private, virtual CTF competition on behalf of iON.

Participants can hunt for the CTF crown from the comfort of their home, racing to beat other players and answer dozens of security challenges using Zeek data in Splunk or Elastic. Players accrue points based on response accuracy and speed and can follow the group leaderboard updates in real time.

New to threat hunting, incident response and CTFs? No problem. Participants of all security levels can play thanks to 1:1 private in-game support offered by Corelight’s technical experts. Need help during the game? Just ask.

Corelight makes powerful network security monitoring solutions that transform network traffic into rich logs, extracted files, and security insights for incident responders and threat hunters. Corelight Sensors run on open-source Zeek (formerly called “Bro”) and simplify Zeek deployment and management while expanding its performance and capabilities.

iON sold its first firewall in 2003. Over the next decade and a half, technology and cyber threats became more complex. iON learned that businesses didn't just need cybersecurity hardware and software. They needed to understand the technology, and they needed a security partner, someone who could continue to support them beyond the purchase.

Today, everything we do provides a stage for the brands you know, their vision and the experiences they create to make the world a better place.

We've built a team that values creativity and fun as much as experience and expertise. We're tight with our customers. We're happy to share our knowledge. Protecting our clients is bigger than us—it's about creating a safer digital world for everyone.
